There are a number of Senior Mixed Curling Bonspiels planned for the Quinte area. Discussions are in progress with other clubs about forming a Senior Mixed Circuit

The Bermax Senior Mixed Open will be at Quinte Curling Club on November 4, 2006. Same format as last year. Refer to the Bonspiels page to link to the Entry form. We will be keeping eight spots open for out of town teams. Flyers will be distributed to area clubs at their open houses.

Tentative date for the Over 200 Stirling Bonspiel is January 6th, 2007.

Tweed Land O'Lakes Bonspiel is February 10th, 2007.

Dates for Brighton, Napanee, Picton and Trenton are not yet confirmed.

We are working on a personal scoring format for participants in this circuit with a view to declaring the winners overall.

Canadian Legion Playdowns

The only prerequisite for this competition is that you must be a Legion member, preferably by September, which is membership month.

There are two categories: Regular and Senior.

Teams may be of any configuration, i.e.:

• 3 men and 1 woman (my fav)
• all men
• all women
• mixed scenario

Playdowns begin with Zones in November, District in December (these are usually at the Brighton C.C.), Regional in January, Provincial in Feburary and Dominion in March (hopefully in Grande Prairie, Alberta)
