1.  General:

Members of the Junior Curling Program may accelerate their skills and strategy development by participation in adult curling leagues at the Quinte Curling Club.

Adult leagues may also find it helpful to utilize juniors as occasional spares, or by including promising junior teams in their league competitions.

2.  Policy:

2.1  If no regular league spares are available, junior curlers (16-years or older) can be utilized as spares in adult leagues during the regular season (playoffs exempted).

2.2  Junior curlers under 18 years of age will not be entered in adult leagues as regular team members, except as described in 2.3 below.

2.3  By agreement between the directors of Junior Curling and league curling, a junior team (all members 16 years or older) may be entered into adult league competition. A junior team is not limited to junior players for spares.

2.4  By agreement between the directors of Junior Curling and League curling, a junior player (16 years or older) may be entered into adult league competition provided that a guardian or coach plays on the team.
