Little Rocks 7-10 years 3:15 p.m.
 
Bantams 11-13 years 4:30 p.m.
 
Juniors 14-19 years 6:30 p.m.
 

Items Required by Junior Curlers

1. Warm layered clothing and gloves (NO JEANS PLEASE)
 
2. Clean curling or running shoes (no street shoes allowed on ice).
 
3. Curling brush (provided)
 
4. Slider (provided)
 
5. Most Important of All: Desire to have fun

Mission Statement

To provide an enjoyable environment for young curlers at all levels of ability and interest, with an opportunity for any junior curler who is so inspired, to maximize their competitive skills.

Goals and Objectives for the Junior Program

·   to share with the young curlers the fun and the comradeship of curling.
 
·   to teach young curlers sportsmanship and at the same time develop a committment to do their best.
 
·   to enhance each curlers' understanding of the game.
 
·   to provide each curler with a venue to develop and improve their technical and tactical skills.
 
·   to train and nurture the competitive spirir in those curlers wishing to curl at a more competitive level.
 
·   to help young curlers to develop their motivational skills.
 
·   to keep curlers well informed of upcoming events.
 
·   to emphasize the integrity of the game of curling as an ambassador of the Quinte Curling Club.
